Las Virgenes Municipal Water District has partnered with TreePeople to offer a self-contained kit designed to make native landscape transformation accessible, affordable, and hassle-free.

By transforming traditional grass-dominated landscapes into native gardens, residents can reduce water usage, create habitat for wildlife and pollinators, and beautify the urban environment.

Program Details

Through September 30th, 2025, TreePeople will offer six different themed kits for a pre-rebate price of $120 per kit. Each LVMWD customer is eligible to receive a $50/kit rebate for up to five (5) kits. TreePeople is offering a limited number of kits, so order yours today!

What’s Inside Your Kit

• 10, one-gallon native plants pre-designed for 10’x10,’ or any 100 square foot garden space

Picking Up Your Kit

All kits will be available for pick up only on Saturday, November 15th, 2025, at the Rancho Las Virgenes Community Compost Facility (3700 Las Virgenes Road, Calabasas).

An email with details on how to sign up for a pickup time will be sent from nativegarden@treepeople.org in early October.
