On February 20, 2025, the LVMWD Board of Directors hosted a special presentation by Scott Koslosky on the impact and implementation of AI in the water district.

 Mr. Koslosky discussed the importance of AI, its potential benefits, and the risks associated with its use. He emphasized the need for an AI risk management plan and the concept of an organizational mind, which integrates various AI tools to enhance decision-making and operational efficiency. 

The presentation included examples of AI applications in other industries and highlighted the importance of AI orchestration. The meeting concluded with a discussion on the next steps for the district, including the development of an AI strategy and risk management plan.
