2025 Rates and Fees

LVMWD provides potable, recycled water and sanitation services to our communities.  The revenue generated is utilized to ensure potable water delivery, fund capital projects and ensure safe and reliable products for all customers. 

New water and sanitation rates for a 5-year period were approved in 2020 through a mandatory Prop 218 process.  Each year in the 5-year period, the Board of Directors are required to reaffirm the rate adjustment for the following year.

Rate adjustments are necessary to cover the costs of purchasing water from the Metropolitan Water District of Southern California and to operate and maintain the potable water, recycled water and sanitation infrastructure.

Every customers’ needs for water and sanitation services is different and each receives a unique water budget based on the number of occupants and the square footage of irrigated area on their property.  Below you will find links to more detailed information about rates, fess, water budgets and the 2020 rate study that was used to establish the current rate schedule.
