In order to best serve our customers, LVMWD actively engages our elected officials.  Our advocacy focuses on informing and education decision makers on the impacts water and waste water policy have on our customers and our ability to continue to provide them with safe, reliable water  and waste water service in an environmentally sensitive and cost-effective way.

Each year the LVMWD board establishes a set of legislative priorities that staff and lobbyists work to fulfil.
